Friday, Friday, Friday…y’all remember that super duper annoying song? That is now probably stuck in your head and you’ll be cursing me the rest of the day for it? Sorry sorry sorry.

Either way, we made it to another weekend. This week seemed to fly by, and while I’m thankful for the weekend, my “to-do” list that’s glaring at me from my neon post-it pad isn’t nearly complete. We have friends coming in town this weekend, and as I mentioned in my country wisdom post, that means cleaning, baking and trying my best to turn this apartment into a cozy little humble abode. Because it is also supposed to be freaking cold the next few days. Like, Buffalo cold. (No offense fam and friends, I just thought “moving down south” = I don’t have to wear 17 layers to go outside for five minutes. Humph. But, as I told my friend who is coming down, one thing we do have in Kentucky is plenty of bourbon to keep us warm. Huzzah!
